Meet Amanda

I specialize in supporting women through the emotional ups and downs of motherhood, whether you're adjusting to life with a newborn, juggling the mental load of parenting, or carrying unresolved trauma that’s impacting your daily life. My goal is to offer a space where you can be honest, feel seen, and begin to heal—without judgment.

In our work together, I use evidence-based approaches like:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to help you understand and shift negative thought patterns that fuel anxiety or self-doubt. We’ll explore how your thoughts impact your feelings and behaviors, and work to build healthier, more empowering ways of thinking.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – to help you learn skills for managing big emotions, improving relationships, and staying grounded in the moment. DBT is especially helpful if you find yourself emotionally overwhelmed or struggling to cope with stress in a balanced way.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – a powerful trauma therapy that helps your brain reprocess painful memories, so they no longer feel as triggering or intense. EMDR can be especially healing for women carrying trauma from birth experiences, past relationships, or childhood. For those seeking faith-based support, I also offer Christian counseling, integrating Biblical principles with therapeutic tools to help you find peace, purpose, and strength in your faith. Whether you’re working through spiritual questions, seeking guidance through prayer, or simply want to anchor your healing journey in your relationship with God, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Therapy with me is a collaboration. I bring compassion, training, and tools—you bring your story, your strength, and your willingness to take the next step. You don’t have to carry it alone. Let’s work together to create more calm, clarity, and connection in your life.
